The St Michael’s Hospice Retail Department is key to the success of St Michael’s Hospice. Our wonderful shops raise significant funds to support the care of our patients and their families.

We have some exciting opportunities to join the busy and friendly team at our Leominster Home & Living Store.

Our thriving and friendly team at the Berrington Street Call Centre is looking for new volunteers to join them to help support their vital work.

The Call Centre is looking to recruit an Administration Volunteer, one volunteer per day, to help the busy team with it’s increasing workload.

Ideally with some administration experience, or with a desire to work towards a career in an administration-based role, the team are looking for volunteers to support them with a variety of tasks including:

• Answering the telephone in a courteous and professional manner.  
• Responding to enquiries. 
• Taking caller details accurately and confirming all details are correct. 
• Logging collection appointments on the Fleet & Logistics database accurately. 
• Taking and passing on messages, predominantly via email. 
• Maintaining awareness of the charity’s work to answer general queries. 
• Working in an effective and efficient manner with volunteer colleagues. 
• Attending role-specific training as required.  
• Maintaining awareness and compliance with St Michael’s Hospice policies, guidelines and values. 

We currently have volunteer vacancies for the following shifts:

Monday to Friday 9am – 1pm & 1 – 4pm
