Volunteering within the St Michael’s retail team is a great way to learn new skills and meet new people. Or perhaps you have knowledge or expertise already that you’d love to share, to help us raise more money for our patients and families? We’re always on the lookout for people who have a love of all things pre-loved or vintage who can help in one of our shops or perhaps help to photograph and list on ebay or Vinted. Whether you love to interact with the public or prefer to be behind the scenes, we’re sure to be able to find the perfect role for you!
Each of our shops has a lovely community feel, many lifelong friendships are formed. We understand people often choose to volunteer with us to reduce loneliness and feel part of something special, so we look forward to welcoming you.
If you’re able to commit to a few hours per week or more, then get in touch! In return as a volunteer, you will get 20% discount on your purchases in store (up to a maximum limit) and invitations to attend volunteer events arranged by the hospice. We also welcome teams from companies who wish to help out for a day as part of a team-building challenge.
