Fundraisers, events, volunteering and community support are just some of the ways your support enables our life-changing care.
Fundraise for us
Whatever way you choose to support us, we’ll help you on your way to fundraising success. We have lots of great suggestions to inspire you, but we also love seeing our community putting a new spin on an old idea or coming up with completely fresh ones. Our fundraising guide is a great read which helps set you on your journey and remember we’re here to help!
Host a Coffee Morning
Did you know that cake is actually good for you when it’s doing good?!
We think so anyway! Hosting your own Coffee Morning or get-together is a great way to raise money for your local hospice whilst enjoying a lovely cuppa and sweet treat with friends.
You pick the date, time, venue and let us help you do the rest! It’s doesn’t even have to be a coffee morning, you can make your event whatever you want it to be.
Join in with one of our challenges
For those of you really wanting to test yourselves we have a range of exciting challenges, from skydives to climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to running Cardiff Half Marathon. Putting yourself out there really makes a difference to the lives of those in our care.
Fundraise as you celebrate!
If you’re lucky enough to not need birthday or Christmas gifts this year, or really don’t know what to get for someone else, a donation to St Michael’s Hospice could be the answer. You can set up a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser within a few clicks, asking friends and family to donate instead of buying gifts. We also have a lovely selection of all-occasion cards that you can send to a friend or family member with a donation to the Hospice in lieu of a gift.
Celebrating a wedding?
We have St Michael’s Hospice pin badges that can be purchased for a small donation and given to guests as favours (they don’t taste as nice a sugared almonds – but they make much more of an impact).
Digital fundraising
There’s lots of ways of utilising technology to help support St Michael’s Hospice. You can use Facebook to set up a fundraiser, such as a head shave or marathon walk, or set up a birthday fundraiser, asking friends and family to donate in lieu of physical gifts.
We also use JustGiving so finding St Michael’s Hospice (Hereford) and setting up your own fundraiser couldn’t be easier.
If you have any queries or would like to discuss your ideas with one of the team, please get in touch.
