St Michael’s Hospice is a charity that cares for people living through a terminal illness in and around Herefordshire. We are looking for volunteer photographers or videographers to join us at walks, runs, dances, open gardens, concerts and many other events. Photos/videos will be used on our website, social media, newsletters, promotional materials and in other communications.
Skills
- You’ll be a competent photographer with your own camera and equipment
- You’ll be independent but able to follow instructions
- You’ll like meeting people and be comfortable asking for photo consent
- You will need to be sensitive to the nature of St Michael’s work in that people you meet may be terminally ill or recently bereaved.
How much time do I need to give?
A volunteering session as an event photographer/videographer is normally 3 to 4 hours, but can vary based on the event. Events are held throughout the year, so there are plenty of events to choose from.
Where will I be based?
All of our events are held in Herefordshire. So you’re sure to find an event local to you.
