Jumping right in can be scary right?
So that’s why we host a Team Tandem Skydive Day so that you can take on your challenge with a team of other fearless fundraisers around you.
Join us, along with a team of supporters at Tilstock Airfield in Shropshire this August for a thrilling Skydive!
Embrace the adrenaline and experience the ultimate adventure, all in support of St Michael’s Hospice.
You will be completing a 10,000ft tandem skydive (attached to a BPA qualified instructor),
free-falling from an aircraft for the first 5,000ft, travelling at up to 120mph, before the parachute opens for the rest of the jump.
As part of your experience,  if you sign up before 6th June, you’ll be invited to a ‘Meet and Greet’ at the Hospice on Monday 28th April to meet the rest of the participants and your Fundraising Team contact who will support you on your journey to raise over £470 in sponsorship.
Deadline for booking is 21st June 2025
To take part, you will need to:
- Pay £70 registration fee to Skyline upon booking (you can reimburse yourself for this out of offline (cash) sponsorship that you collect in if you wish.
- Raise £470 in sponsorship.
In return the Hospice will receive an average donation of £150 with everything you raise above this minimum target also coming directly to St Michael’s. Before you sign up, please make sure you meet the skydive criteria.
When it comes to raising money for St Michael’s Hospice, the sky really is the limit.

How many spaces are there?
We have 10 spaces on the pre-booked day at Tilstock airfield in Shropshire, but can usually book more if we need to. Minimum sponsorship is £470, with £150 of that coming to us – but the more sponsorship raised, the more we receive.
For a tandem skydive you must be at least 16 years old and be under 15 stone in weight. Please note some centres have lower weight limits – please contact us for details. The principal medical restrictions are diabetes, epilepsy, fits, recurrent blackouts, heart or lung disease, mental illness and some cases of asthma. You will be required to sign a medical form before your jump declaring your fitness to take part – this will be sent to you upon receipt of your online booking but is also available on request. Those under the age of 18 will need the medical form signed by a parent or guardian; those with a medical condition will need it signed by their doctor.Â
Pre-existing physical conditions will not necessarily prevent you from taking part but please inform Skyline of any physical condition as this may affect the location of your jump. If you are in any doubt then please contact us for further information.Â
