Starting from Hereford Rowing Club, this scenic 24-mile trek takes you through the beautiful south Herefordshire countryside. Enjoy stunning scenery, friendly vibes and a well-earned lunch stop!
Begin at the picturesque Brockhampton Cricket Club, in the heart of Herefordshire’s beautiful rural landscape. Your 12-mile route will take you through How Caple before heading to the finish at Goodrich Village Hall. A memorable challenge set against a stunning backdrop.

Half route – You’ll join the trek at the halfway point, starting from the picturesque setting of Brockhampton Cricket Club. From there, you’ll join fellow full route trekkers as you make your way south through Herefordshire, taking in How Caple, then following the Wye as it makes its way to Goodrich, where you’ll find the finish line at the village hall. Hot food and a well-earned refreshment await! Route map can be seen here.
Full route – Your adventure begins beside the Wye in the heart of Hereford at the Rowing Club. After leaving the city you’ll make your way to the pretty Herefordshire village of Mordiford. This undulating route winds its way towards How Caple, in the heart of the Wye Valley, before taking you to Goodrich and the finish line. Route map can be seen here.
This trek is a rewarding physical challenge, so if you have any concerns about your health, we recommend checking in with your GP before taking part.
To help you feel confident and prepared, some training in advance is essential — we suggest building up with walks of similar terrain and gradually increasing your distance and elevation.
When you sign up, you agree to share any relevant medical information (such as allergies or pre-existing conditions) with our first aid team, so they can provide the best possible care on the day.
Please note, photography may be taken during the event for future promotional use. If you’d prefer not to be included, just let a member of our team know on the day.
