Step into Tradition: Torchlight, Song, and Celebration

Dancing will be at 7pm followed by an atmospheric torchlight procession into the ancient cider orchards. After the ceremony of singing, carousing and general merriment, there will be food, music and Mummers at the Visitors Centre.

This popular event raises much-needed funds for St Michael’s Hospice. After the success of ticketing the event in previous years, the advanage of keeping numbers at a manageable level and raising even more for the Hospice was clear to see. In 2026, the event will once again be entry by pre-purchased ticket. Should there be any tickets remaining, these will be sold on the night.

Silurian would like to remind all participants that there is darkness, mud, cold and REAL fire involved, please come prepared!
