To ensure the safest environment for all participants we have arranged the following road closures across the morning & early afternoon;
St Owen Street – will be closed in it’s entirety from 9am until the last runners have exited Castle Green and passed Offas Street.
Holme Lacy Road – at the junction with Winston Road and up to the Straight Mile from 9am until the last runners have turned off Holme Lacy Rd on to the Greenway.
Hampton Park Road – at the junction with Eign Road, before the railway bridge, all the way to Mordiford Bridge. Access on to this road will be restricted at all joining roads until all runners are clear.
Diversions will be in place, with marshals on hand to answer any queries and allow access to and from homes and businesses when deemed safe to do so.
Every year, runners tell us how much they appreciate the support from spectators along the route, and we know they would appreciate your backing this year as they take on these new routes. We are sorry for any inconvenience the road closures may cause and would like to thank the local community for their support and understanding.
If you have any queries, please contact Race Director: Amy Johnson on 01432 851 000Â
