By joining St Michael’s Friends, you’ll be helping to ensure that our vital support is available to those who need it the most within Herefordshire and beyond.

Regular donations, whether they are made monthly or quarterly, really help us to be able to manage our finances across all our services and that means we can be efficient and economically sound in the way that we spend our money.

You can become a Friend from £5 or more per month. Once you sign up, you’ll have access to special offers, meet ups and news exclusive to you.

£120 per year could pay for a course of counselling for someone adjusting to living with a life-limiting illness

£300 per year could pay for pain medication and oxygen for a day for all our patients at the hospice.

£600 could keep one of our Hospice at Home vehicles on the road for a month, ensuring our dedicated care staff can visit patients across the county and beyond.

St Michael’s Hospice organises a number of fundraising events every year.
As a Friend, you’ll be able to show your Friends card and enjoy the following thank you’s from us:

  • Hot Chocolate for up to 4 people when you book to attend our Christmas Grotto
  • A free hot drink for you and a guest when you attend our free annual Plant Fair
  • A free hot drink for you and a guest when you book to attend our annual Open Garden events (Excludes Brinsop Court and Kentchurch Court Gardens)
  • A Special ‘Glow Pack’ if you enter the Venus Midnight Walk

All you need to do is pledge a monthly gift through Direct Debit, and, if you’re eligible, you can Gift Aid that donation too, meaning that your regular gift is worth even more to the Hospice at no extra cost to you.
