Virtual Open Gardens revisited five years on

Goodrich residents ‘opened’ their gardens to the public – raising funds for St Michael’s

Five years ago, whilst the UK was in the middle of a Covid lockdown, residents in Goodrich came up with a brilliant way to help people feel connected.

A video was put together allowing viewers to enjoy a virtual tour of a number of gardens dotted in and around the south Herefordshire village. It was viewed 25,000 times, with over £3,000 raised for us!

Now, the people of Goodrich are celebrating the 2020 milestone by relaunching the video, with donations invited to St Michael’s.
