Staff mark 40 years of care with epic challenge
Titan 40 will see 17 of our staff members raft, walk and cycle their way from Hay to St Michael’s
For St Michael’s 40th Anniversary a large group of our hard-working staff are preparing for an epic challenge of 120km!
Titan 40 will see 17 of our colleagues spend a (very) long day rafting, walking and cycling their way from Hay-on-Wye to St Michael’s HQ in Bartestree.
They will raft 40kms, walk 40kms and cycle 40kms… a total of 120km in a day!
They have been hugely supported by MadSat Raft Team who have provided hours of training and will be with them all the way!
They hope to raise £5,000 from the challenge, which takes place on Saturday, 28th September.
“None of us are elite athletes and recognise how hard this challenge will be to complete. However each and everyone of us will draw inspiration from remembering the patients we have treated over the years, we want to raise as much money as possible for St Michael’s,” said Siobhan MacQuillan, our Therapy lead and Titan 40 member.
