Postcards from Life – Artist Carola Kean

Carola Kean’s varied artistic talents have been admired by those in Herefordshire and further afield for many years. “I love taking part in Postcards from Life. If I can spend a day doing a sewing project that I know is going to bring somebody pleasure, then it’s worth it,” said Carola.

Eighteen years ago, the Hospice cared for Carola’s late husband, Bob, who was a serving police officer in Herefordshire. Since then, Carola has led on several fundraising events, including playing a pivotal role in helping organise the Hospice’s flower festival at Lyde Arundel in 2019.

“Bob’s the reason I have such a close connection with the place, and why I’ve been so keen to fundraise for the Hospice over the years,’ Carola added. “I look forward to Postcards and hope it will raise a considerable sum for St Michael’s.”
