Great Welsh Marathon helps Kay and Jamieson complete 40K before 40

St Michael’s supporters Kay and Jamieson put in a marathon effort to secure a very special achievement.

“We wanted to do a 40k before we turn 40, so we chose the Great Welsh Marathon,” said Kay.

The pair joined hundreds of others at Pembury Country Park, on the South Wales coast, for the run earlier this month.

“It was tough, but the goal was to finish with a smile,” added Kay. “It was emotional, but an absolute joy to have completed it.”

Both finished in sub four-and-a-half hours, crossing the line together in 4:29:13. They raised more than £1,350, before Gift Aid!

Congratulations to you both!
