Susan walked length of Malverns in memory of friend’s daughter
Huge congratulations to Susan Ferguson who has walked the length of the Malvern Hills for us, raising over £1,500!
Susan’s walk coincided with a ‘significant birthday’ and is all the more impressive given she has had three new hips in the last decade.
Her inspiration was 19-year-old India Wilkinson who died at St Michael’s in 2017. Susan is friends with, and works alongside, India’s mum, Zinnia.
“India was such a special person who touched the lives of so many,” said Susan, who is pictured with a friend, Chris, who completed the walk with her.
“I know India was cared for so well by everyone at St Michael’s, which is why I wanted to raise as much money for the Hospice.”
