Dolphin was commissioned quarter of a century ago by Denco

Our pond has a striking new addition thanks to the donation of this life-sized dolphin.

The striking artwork was commissioned a quarter of a century ago by Hereford-based Denco to celebrate a new corporate logo featuring two dolphins inside a circle. It was produced by local artist Helen Vasbenter.

Denco, now FlaktGroup, has kindly donated the artwork to us, where it now takes pride of place in the pond beside our Inpatient Unit rooms.

The sculpture was created alongside a smaller dolphin, also made for Denco, which sits outside the Children’s Ward at Hereford County Hospital.
