JustGiving fundraising hits £1 million milestone

We’re delighted to announce that individual fundraising for the Hospice via JustGiving has reached over £1 million.

The first ever payment to St Michael’s Hospice was made in 2005 and since then we have received an incredible £1,006,263.11 to date. 3,895 JustGiving fundraising pages have been created and £166,338.87 has been reclaimed in Gift Aid, making a staggering total of £1,172,601.98 raised online with JustGiving.

As a charity, we need to raise over £5.4 million a year to ensure we can continue to provide our care and support for free. 90% of this funding comes from our local community through donations and fundraising events.
