“It restores your faith in humanity” – Nurses’ fuel bill paid by stranger

Jaki and Katie, who are part of our Hospice at Home team, were left stunned when a driver paid for their fuel.

They had stopped in one of our Hospice branded cars to fill up at the Holmer Road petrol station in Hereford.

As Jaki went in to pay, a man leant out of his car window to say he had already settled their fuel bill.

“It was such a lovely thing to do,” said Jaki.

“It really restores your faith in humanity – and we just want to say thank you to the man for his generosity.”
