Nestled within 10 acres of breathtaking gardens and grounds, this enchanting estate features a terraced formal garden with an ornamental pond, first planted in 1989. Wander through a rose-covered pergola or take the steps leading to the ‘wilderness’—a winding arboretum path that guides you to the Victorian walled garden.
Once home to a thriving vineyard established by the current Richard Mynors in the 1980s, the walled garden remains a cherished space, now providing the family with an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Discover the Mynors family residence, lovingly maintained since 1480. Join a guided tour to explore this living heritage, where history and contemporary family life meet. The house has evolved through the ages, from 17th-century expansions adding bedrooms, to 18th-century enhancements including a smoking room atop the southeast tower. In 1840, a major modernisation brought a roofed central yard, grand front stairs, and elegant Gothic-style oak doors. Further updates in the late 20th and early 21st centuries have refreshed the interiors while preserving its historic charm, including renovated bathrooms, a modern kitchen, and restored original windows.
