Take a leisurely stroll through Nant-y-Bedd, a 10-acre garden, meadow, and woodland lovingly nurtured over 45 years by Sue and Ian. This forest and forager’s garden blends vegetables — including perennial and heritage varieties, with wildflowers, ornamental plants (many edible), and an extraordinary range of trees.
Discover a natural swimming pond, sculpted trees, a treehouse, a Silent Space, and a stream and river running through the grounds. A meadow is managed as woodland pasture to encourage biodiversity, welcoming bees, butterflies, birds, and all visitors alike.
Nant-y-bedd is managed using regenerative, planet-friendly gardening techniques, including no-dig, polyculture, and permaculture principles, making it a haven for wildlife as well as an inspiring space for gardeners and nature lovers. The garden has been featured on TV, in magazines, and in prestigious books, celebrating its creativity and ecological focus.
Homemade cake and a warm drink, included with your entry.
