Huge thanks to Peterchurch residents for supporting a sparkling afternoon’s fundraising.

Fizz and Chips attracted dozens of people who enjoyed a summer afternoon of bubbly and fish ‘n’ chips, raising over £2,100 along the way.

Organiser Estelle Smith said the afternoon was huge fun.

“We told people to bring a smile, and that’s exactly what they did. I love this village and I can’t thank everyone enough for supporting St Michael’s through this event.

“My passion for the Hospice comes from the care they provided to a very good friend of mine. It was just exceptional.”
