Light up a Life at St Michael’s Hospice
Remember a loved one this Christmas at this poignant and moving event full of light, love and reflection

Celebrate your loved one’s life with us at St Michael’s Hospice in Bartestree on Wednesday 1st December at 5.00pm.
Gather around the Christmas Tree outside our Hospice entrance and pause to remember loved ones as the tree’s lights are switched on. Enjoy a warm drink inside and share a thought and moment of reflection for all those we have lost in this poignant and uplifting event.
Attendance is free and suitable for all ages.
We would ask that you register your attendance so that we can monitor numbers and ensure social distancing. We cannot guarantee seating though as this event can get very busy, so we would strongly recommend that you arrive early to avoid disappointment.
There is ample free on-site parking and all of our paths are wheelchair and pushchair friendly.
Guide dogs are welcome on site.
You can also celebrate your loved one’s life by lighting up a virtual light with a dedication on this website.

What happened last year
Last year’s Light up a Life was a bit different.
The centrepiece was this video made especially for the occasion.
A big thank you to Daniel Jones for filming and editing ‘The Place Where The Lost Things Go’ section of the film.
