Expert care that’s as individual as you are

Person-centred care that is exactly what you need, when you need it. We’ll make sure we spend some time getting to know you and talking about any issues you have.

A warm welcome awaits you from our specialist team of doctors, nurses, support staff and volunteers who offer a range of tailored therapies.

What to expect:

During each weekly visit, your nurse will assess your well-being, track your treatment progress, and address any questions or concerns you might have, whether related to your illness or other topics.

Our Day Hospice receives regular visits from specialised doctors, whom your nurse will recommend based on your specific needs. This will be a 12-week placement.

What we do:

At Day Hospice, our aim is to help you maintain your independence and enhance your overall quality of life.

You may also enjoy meeting others who may also be experiencing hospice care for the first time.

Before long you might find yourself having some complementary therapies or undergoing physiotherapy.

All our services are provided in a relaxed and informal environment.

Enjoy a host of therapies and support

Make a referral

Patients can be referred to the Hospice either by their GP, community nurse specialist, district nurse, hospital doctor or consultant.

The Day Hospice has really been incredible for me. They’ve helped me to stay independant and also to chat with other people who are experiencing the same things as me. And the care staff?
Just wonderful.
