Our community is at the heart of St Michael’s Hospice so we are always seeking to make new connections with local community groups and schools, both to raise awareness of our services and to get people involved in fundraising activities.

Raising awareness

Hospice tours

We would love to come and see you to talk about St Michael’s Hospice or invite your community group or school into the Hospice for a tour.

It doesn’t matter how small or large your group is, we can arrange a visit to talk about the Hospice, the services it provides and how we help those in our community at a time they need it most.

We are always looking to make sure that people are aware of our services, how they can access them and why it’s so important to keep up our fundraising activity.

Arranging a talk

Arranging a talk or visit is simple.

Just contact our Events & Community Fundraising Officer, Amy Johnson who will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Likewise, if you have raised money for us, Amy can pop along to your school or community group to give a talk and receive a cheque.

For more information, or to request a talk, please call 01432 852 603 or email events@smhospicehereford.org

We’re here to help

Whatever you decide to do, we’ll be there to support you every step of the way. We can provide you with collection tins and buckets, produce posters for you, send your sponsor forms and give you advice on running an event.

If you’ve got a great fundraising idea let us know!

We need your support

We rely on the support of the community to meet the majority of our running costs: St Michael’s Hospice costs a year to run, with three quarters of that figure coming from the local community.
