Bird box donation for Hospice Garden

Big thank you to Margaret Davies, who recently picked first prize in an Oakchurch Farm Shop competition. 

Margaret decided to donate the prize, which included a bird nesting box, and bird feeder, to St Michael’s. When Oakchurch heard about her charitable donation, they added a full-size bird table to the prize package. 

Margaret, who is currently attending Day Services at St Michael’s after spending time as an Inpatient in 2020, said, ‘I wanted the prizes to go to St Michael’s because I know they will bring pleasure to patients staying at and visiting the Hospice. The Hospice garden is a place of such beauty and tranquillity, I spent many happy hours looking out of my window watching the squirrels, pheasants and robins during my recent stay.’
