Switch on your laptop, tablet or phone and host a video call with friends, family or colleagues on Teams, Zoom or WhatsApp. Ask them to bring a cup of tea and a slice of cake and let them know how they can donate.

  • Download the ‘Guess the number of seeds’ game (you will get the link in your Big Tea registration email) and ask guests to donate £1 per guess
  • Give a £1 fine every time someone talks on mute
  • Host a quiz, on a baking theme or general knowledge
  • Ask guests to vote who has the prettiest/best/funniest mug or cup of tea
  • Offer a small prize for the BIGGEST mug or cup of tea
  • For adults only, ask your guests to invent and serve a tea-themed cocktail
  • Make up bunting from your Big Tea pack to hang in the background during your online call
  • Encourage your guests to Gift Aid any online donations

Online donations
Your online donations come directly to us each week. So that we can check your donations and thank you for the correct amount, please confirm your total once you know it, by emailing gwarren@smhospicehereford.org. Please include your name, address and a contact number in your email. 

Cheques 
Please post a cheque to Gaynor Warren, St Michael’s Hospice, Bartestree, Hereford, HR1 4HA and enclose the following information: name, address and a contact number. 

BACS payment 
If you would like to make a BACS payment, please ring Gaynor on 01432 852632 to arrange this.
