Big Tea in memory of Stephen

When Julie Mirfin’s husband died, it wasn’t hard to persuade his work colleagues to take part in a fundraiser for St Michael’s.

Julie and Stephen were not only husband and wife but worked together at Bartonsham Dairies in Hereford.

He died at St Michael’s in June, leading to Julie coming up with the idea of holding a Big Tea for her Hospice, which raised £700.

‘Stephen was at St Michael’s itself for just 19 hours,’ said Julie, pictured.

‘He was so well cared for. At work we often have a charity coffee morning, so we thought it fitting to hold a Big Tea for the Hospice.’
