Beautiful 'Thank You' gift to Day Services staff

Steve’s wife, Angie, created the cushion as a way of saying Thank You for the support her husband has received

When Steve ended his placement with our Day Services team, he left staff a gift he didn’t even know he’d created.

Steve’s wife Angie produced a beautiful patterned cushion for staff, featuring images of Hospice-related scenes which mean so much to Steve.

It includes plants he’s sown while here, items he’s created, and places around the Hospice he enjoys spending time in.

“I didn’t even know she had made it,” said Steve. “I’m so glad she did, though.

“St Michael’s has been great for me. It’s given me the chance to receive great care and advice, and meet others going through the same thing.”
