The Widemarsh Common event features a youth and adult section with winners netting a well-deserved medal.
Prizes will be handed out by Sandra Parry, Sue Parry’s mum and founder of the tournament.
Sue Parry was a football fan who was a patient at St Michael’s Hospice.
She sadly died in 1999 with the tournament taking place each year in her memory.
On July 2nd 2017, our Hospice photographer will be on hand to capture all the action from this memorable day, with his free images later available on Facebook.
If you just fancy watching, we’ll have vendors selling hot and cold drinks, ice cream and BBQ food. A raffle will also be held.
For those taking part, awards will be given out for the best club performances.
There are seven youth categories: Boys U9, U10, U11&U12, U13&14, U15&16 and Girls U12 and U14.
All age groups are based on the 2016/17 season.
Places in the adult competition are limited.
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of four matches, subject to the tournament being fully booked.
In the youth categories there is a straight final for the top teams and in the adult competition we run a knockout stage for the top four teams in the pool.
You will need to book your place prior to Friday 30th June. Booking and payment takes place on the same page so please have your debit/credit card with you when booking. We cannot accept late entries or payment on the day.
Junior team entry is £15 (maximum of 8 per squad)
Adult team entry is £30 (maximum of 8 per squad)
Programmes are £1 each

Youth team registration from 9am with first matches played at 9.30am.
Youth competition raffle and presentation ceremony at 12.30pm.
Adult team registration from 12.00pm with first matches played at 12.30pm.
Adult competition raffle and presentation ceremony at 5.30pm.
There’s plenty of ways to support the Hospice, who are beneficiaries of this tournament, on the day. You can hold competition or sweepstake between members of your team for most goals scored, or guessing the amount of goals your team scores. You can purchase our food for the day from our BBQ and ice Cream stalls. Purchase a programme. Enter our raffle.
