Un success!

Luke Sweetman crossed the channel to take part in his first ever marathon.

The Hospice supporter completed the twice-postponed Paris Marathon in five hours, 44 minutes, raising £1,414.33.

Luke chose St Michael’s as the beneficiary following the care they provided to his grandad, Dave Gray, who died at the Hospice in 2019.

I’d like to thank everyone who has donated towards my Paris Marathon fundraiser,” said Luke.

“It was such a great experience and I’m delighted to have taken part.

“It means so much to raise money for St Michael’s.

“Its an incredible place which didn’t just help my grandad, they helped our entire family too. I’ll be forever grateful to them.”
