Football fanatic to walk 10K with teammates
Football fanatic Alaria has her sights set on a special fundraising goal.
The 10-year-old will walk 10K to St Michael’s Hospice on 6th July, raising money for the charity which looked after her Great Nanny earlier this year.
Alaria plays for Wessington Football Club, and she will be joined on the walk by her teammates as between them they aim to raise £1,000 for St Michael’s.
“Alaria wanted to do the walk because the Hospice at Home team at St Michael’s looked after her Great Nanny in March,” said mum Gemma, who works at St Michael’s as a Registered Nurse.
“I’m so proud of her, and everyone taking on the walk.”
