A masterclass featuring one of the country’s leading Mindfulness teachers has been held at St Michael’s.
Attendees from around the UK and across the world tuned in to the all-day event, either in person at St Michael’s or through Zoom.

Called ‘Mindfulness and Compassion for the Palliative Journey – A Masterclass’, it was led by Vidyamala Burch, a mindfulness and compassion teacher, author, disability spokesperson and Co-founder of Breathworks, and Gail Calthrop, a Registered General Nurse and Breathworks Mindfulness Practitioner at St Michael’s.

There were testimonies on both the value of the Hospice, and Mindfulness, from service users and staff.
“The day was a great success, and we’re very grateful to everyone who joined us,” said Gail.
“We hope they found it useful, engaging and worthwhile.”
