Medical Practice's walk in memory of colleague Bel

Mortimer Medical Practice helped raise over £1,000 in memory of their colleague

Healthcare Assistant Belinda (Bel) Lloyd was so loved by staff and patients at Mortimer Medical Practice that a fundraiser in her memory has raised over £1,000.

Those who remembered Bel, who was cared for by St Michael’s and died earlier this year, walked 5K around Kingsland in her memory.

Collection buckets were left in each of Mortimer’s surgeries, helping more than double the group’s initial £500 fundraising target.

We were delighted to be visited by a group of Bel’s colleagues, as well as her husband Russ, and brother Kevin, to hand over the very kind donation.
