St Michael's Announce New Career Opportunities in Ludlow!

Plans are going ahead to open a new shop in February 2026 with six new jobs created in the local community.

So, why Ludlow? We deliver expert palliative care to adults with life-limiting conditions, whether at our hospice, at home, or in the wider community. We support families before, during, and after bereavement, helping them navigate the challenges of caregiving, loss, and grief. This includes patients and their families from the Shropshire Borders.

By moving forward with our plans to open our first Shropshire-based charity shop, we’re proud to not only be able to offer six new jobs to local people but also to increase understanding of the support the Hospice offers to patients and their families in this community.

This location, set to open in February 2026, will follow the model of our popular Home & Living shops, offering local residents the chance to support hospice care through shopping and donating pre-loved items. We’re looking for enthusiastic team-players to work at this brand-new shop. We’re hiring for a Retail Manager, Duty Manager and Retail Assistants (Full Time and Part time).
