Ieuan's our Tour de Hereford fundraising champion

Ieuan’s our Tour de Hereford fundraising champion

Tour de Hereford was a runaway success thanks to our supporters who, between them, raised over £11,000.

Our individual fundraising champion is Ieuan Vale-Smith who cycled 1,400km over three weeks on his way to raising £1,030 for St Michael’s.

Ieuan, an apprentice mechanic at Vertu Volkswagen Hereford, wins a signed Team INEOS jersey, plus other goodies.

‘I’m a runner really but when I saw the Tour de Hereford advertised on Facebook I knew I wanted to sign up,’ he said.

‘It was only in the summer that I took to cycling and I’ve really been bitten by the bug thanks to this event.

‘My nan was cared for by St Michael’s a few years ago so it means a lot to have raised this money for them.’

Thanks Ieuan, and everyone who took part in the Tour de Hereford.
