Iconic film screening in memory of Ian

Some Like It Hot screening to benefit St Michael’s and Courtyard Hereford

Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe will help raise funds for St Michael’s in the New Year.

Yes, you read that right!

A screening of Monroe’s iconic film Some Like It Hot, also starring Jack Lemmon, takes place at the Courtyard Hereford on Saturday, 10^th January (5.15pm).

Proceeds will be split between us and the Courtyard in memory of Ian Moore, who died at St Michael’s in September.

Ian, and his wife Gerry, had volunteered at the arts venue on Edgar Street since its opening in 1998. Some Like It Hot was one of Ian’s favourite films.

“We were so grateful that Ian was at St Michael’s,” said Gerry.

“They were fantastic to Ian. It was the perfect place at the end.”
