A key part of the care we provide for patients and their families are the wonderful grounds that wrap around St Michael’s Hospice, creating a calming, natural environment.
Part of the inspirational gardens at St Michael’s Hospice have been designed by BBC Gardeners World presenter, Monty Don, which has been implemented and maintained by our Volunteer Gardening Team.
You will be working alongside other volunteer Hospice Gardeners to keep the garden looking tidy and well planted.
You may be involved in the following activities:
– Weeding
– Watering
– Planting
– Garden planning
– Mowing
Plants and equipment are provided by the charity. The Hospice Gardening team meet every Wednesday at 11am.
