Calling all young football stars!
Take part in our thrilling six-a-side junior tournaments, with categories for boys and girls from Under-8s to Under-14s. Whether you’re playing for fun or pushing for victory, this is your chance to showcase your skills and enjoy a fantastic day of football!

Step up and compete in our six-a-side adult football tournaments!
With dedicated men’s and women’s competitions, plus a social tournament, there’s a place for everyone—whether you’re playing to win or just for the love of the game.

Rounders
Fast, fun, and full of action—rounders is back!
Grab your team of nine and choose between the All-Female Competitive Tournament or the Mixed Social Tournament. Whether you’re in it for the competition or just a great day out, rounders is a fantastic way to get involved.

Sevens Rugby
Fast-paced, high-energy, and brand new to the festival!
Bring your team of 10 and take on the senior Rugby Sevens tournament. With a £500 winning prize sponsored by Rockfield Distillery, there’s everything to play for—so rally your squad and get ready to compete!

The Sue Parry Festival has it’s roots firmly in the football pitch; Sue’s favourite sport and how the fundraising all began.
All football teams joining us will enjoy:
- A Matchday programme with fixtures
- Up to 5 matches plus knockout football for qualifying teams
- HFA qualified referees
- First Aid cover
- Medals for the winners and runners up
- Participation certificates for all junior teams
- Live music from 12pm

Tournament fee: £35 per team. Fees include entry for up to 10 players, one coach and one team manager.

Junior teams can have more than 8 players in a squad but only 8 players are allowed to play in any one match.
Six-a-side football
Registration from 1.00pm
Kick off from 2.00pm
Presentations 7.30pm
Tournament fee: £60 per team paid in advance or £10 deposit now and £50 on the day. Fees include entry for up to 8 players and one coach.
Categories: Male tournament, Female Tournament and social tournament.
Social teams must have a minimum of two female players and/or three veteran (over 35) players to play in this tournament. The social games are more about having fun and scoring some wild goals than putting in heated tackles and challenging the ref.
For each tournament the winners and runners up will have presentation on the main stage and receive a drinks token for the bar. Winners of the male adult competition will double down with two tokens.*
*Tokens are exchangeable at Jam Factory bar or Westons kiosk only. Staff may refuse to serve alcoholic drinks based on age or intoxication. Tokens remain the property of and under the discretion of St Michael’s Hospice and can be removed at any time.
1.Each team must pay their entry fees by the correct date before they can take part in the tournament.
2.Teams will be aged in the Junior tournament as of the 2024/25 season.
3.All squads can have a maximum of 8 players with rolling substitutions. Junior squads with more than 8 players can only use two subs per game.
4.Teams must be ready on their pitch two minutes before the scheduled kick off time. Teams that arrive late may not get a full 10 minute game.
5.In all cases where the referee decides there is a colour clash the team named as ‘Team 1’ will change. Bibs are available from the registration tent.
6.The adult team named as ‘Team 1’ will supply the match ball.
7.There will be no offside.
8.The points system will work as follows a) The winning team will be awarded 3 points b) Drawing teams will be awarded 1 point each c)Losing teams will not be awarded points
9.When deciding the position of teams in the group stages and also the best third-place teams, the first placed team will be that with the highest number of points. In situations where more than one team has the same number of points the position will be decided by: a) The number of goals scored, then b) The team with the best goal difference c) If teams are still in the same position then a coin toss will decide which team is placed higher
10.During the knockout stages; if after normal playing time the score is equal the game will go into 2 minutes of extra time where a golden goal will decide the winner. If no golden goal is scored the match will be decided by kicks from the penalty spot (best of 3 followed by sudden death).
11.The duration of the matches will be 10 minutes.
12.All players must be named on the team sheets and these must be handed to the registration staff prior to the tournament starting.
13.Teams that do not turn up for a match will forfeit that match. The winner will be awarded 3 point and be awarded the highest number of goals any other team has scored against that side.
14.The referee shall be the sole arbiter on points of dispute on the field of play and will be empowered to interpret the rules governing six-a-side football in the best interests of all concerned. Referees will be empowered to give yellow and red cards for abusive behaviour.
15.If a player is sent off, he/she will miss the next match. They will be able to play again after the missed match. In the case of violent or abusive conduct, the player, or players, may be banned from the rest of the tournament.
16.Players and managers must be aware that all bookings will be dealt with by the HFA as normal.
17.All players must wear shin pads to play in the tournament.
18.With the exception of the rules above, the rules of the Football Association will apply.
19.In all matters arising that are not specifically covered by these rules the competitions organising Committee shall be the sole judge
20.Entry fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the Event Organisers
21.This is a HFA affiliated tournament; all teams must submit a completed player registration form (supplied after registration) prior to playing. All players, managers, coaches and spectators must strictly follow the FA codes of conduct.
Rounders Tournaments
The Sue Parry Festival enjoyed it’s first Rounders Tournament in 2023, now it’s back for 2025.
All rounders teams joining us will enjoy:
- A Matchday programme with fixtures
- Up to 4 matches
- Experienced umpires
- First Aid cover
- Medals for the winners and runners up
- Live music from 12pm
- Licensed bar
- Refreshments
- Entertainment throughout the day
- Free entry to JamFest
Registration from 12.00pm
Matches from 1.00pm
Presentations at 7.30pm
Tournament fee: £50 per team
Fees include entry for up to 12 players and one coach. Players must be aged 13 years old or older.
Choose between the All-Female competitive tournament or Mixed social tournament.
The tournament winners will receive a prize of £250 cash, kindly donated by Rockfield Motor Group.
1.Each team must pay their entry fees by the correct date before they can take part in the tournament.
2.All squads can have a maximum of 12 players. Only 9 players are allowed to compete in a match unless an injury takes place.
- All players must be 13 years of age or older as of 28thJune 2025 to play in the tournament with any player under the age of 16 having parental permission to take part.
4.Teams must be ready on their pitch two minutes before the scheduled start time. Teams that arrive late may not get a full batting innings.
- An innings will last for 20 balls or sooner if the batting team is all out.
6.The points system will work as follows a) The winning team will be awarded 3 points b) Drawing teams will be awarded 1 point each c) Losing teams will not be awarded points
7.The referee shall be the sole arbiter on points of dispute on the field of play and will be empowered to interpret the rules as they see fit. Descent will not be tolerated.
Rugby Sevens Tournaments
The Sue Parry Festival excited to announce the inclusion of Rugby Sevens into its 2025 list of sports.
All touch rugby teams joining us will enjoy:
- A Matchday programme with fixtures
- Up to 5 matches plus knockout stages
- Experienced referees
- First Aid cover
- Medals for the winners and runners up
- Live music from 12pm
- Licensed bar
- Refreshments
- Entertainment throughout the day
- Free entry to JamFest
Registration from 12.00pm
Matches from 1.00pm
Presentations at 7.30pm
Tournament fee: £50 per team
Fees include entry for up to 10 players and one coach. Players must be aged 16 years old or older and teams can be made up of males.
The tournament winners will receive a prize of £500 cash, kindly donated by Rockfield Distillery.
1.Each team must pay their entry fees by the correct date before they can take part in the tournament.
2.All squads can have a maximum of 10 players. Only 7 players are allowed on the pitch at any one time.
- All players must be 16 years of age or older as of 28thJune 2025 to play in the tournament with any player under the age of 16 having parental permission to take part.
4.Teams must be ready on their pitch two minutes before the scheduled start time. Teams that arrive late may forfeit the ball.
- Matches will be played in two 7 minute halves with a 1 minute break at half time.
6.The points system will work as follows a) The winning team will be awarded 3 points b) Drawing teams will be awarded 1 point each c) Losing teams will not be awarded points
7.The referee shall be the sole arbiter on points of dispute on the field of play and will be empowered to interpret the rules as they see fit. Descent will not be tolerated.
