Open Gardens 2024

St Michael’s Hospice

Enjoy a stroll around the 1.5-acre plot lovingly maintained by our dedicated volunteers and enjoy an abundance of colour and scent.

Pink roses blooming in a lush garden, surrounded by vibrant green grass. A picturesque scene of nature's beauty.

Explore the garden that provides comfort to many throughout Herefordshire

The garden, co-designed by Monty Don, has an array of flora, and includes a selection of David Austin Roses, which will be in full bloom at this time of year.

Tours of the garden will be available from our Volunteer Gardening Team, two years on from the official opening, as well as a representative from David Austin Roses*.

David Austin Roses has been breeding exquisite English roses since 1961 on their family farm in Shropshire.

Lunch and Cream Tea, prepared in house by the Hospice catering team, are available between 11.30am and 3.30pm.

Local jazz trio, Hot Club Collective, will be performing on the terrace overlooking the gardens.
