Kentchurch Court

Step into the enchanting world of Kentchurch Court, one of Herefordshire’s most significant historic houses.

People walking around a stone building in a lush green field.

Uncover the magic at one of the UK’s best-kept secrets

Considered to be one of the most important historic houses in Herefordshire, Kentchurch Court is the ancestral home of the Lucas-Scudamore family.

Named by The Guardian as one of the best secret gardens in the UK, the property covers part of a wider estate stretching some 5,000 acres.

The gardens provide an intimate space for the family, and there is a vegetable garden, an orchard and a deer park. There are plenty of perennial flowers that overflow on to the paths.
