Room Hire
Swan Room
Our largest training space, Swan, can accommodate up to 32 delegates in either theatre or cabaret-style seating, making it ideal for workshops, training sessions and presentations. The room includes Wi-Fi, a presentation screen and flipchart to support your event needs. Free on-site parking is also available for your convenience.
Partridge Room
Our smaller training space, Partridge, can accommodate up to 12 delegates around a boardroom-style table or 16 in cabaret-style seating, making it ideal for meetings, workshops and smaller training sessions. Wi-Fi is available, along with access to a presentation screen and flipchart to support your session. Free on-site parking is also available for your convenience.
Our rooms are fully accessible, with facilities designed to ensure a comfortable and inclusive experience for all guests. We offer flexible layouts to suit your needs, whether you require a classroom, workshop, or boardroom-style setup. Each space can be tailored to keep participants comfortable, engaged, and supported throughout your session, with the added benefit of direct access to our tranquil Hospice gardens – providing a calm and restorative environment to enhance your event experience.

The Education Centre has its own kitchen, equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, hot water boiler and dishwasher. Groups using the Education Centre are welcome to use the kitchen and adjoining reception area on arrival and for coffee breaks. Organisations who wish to provide their own drinks may use the facilities by arrangement – please discuss this in advance of your booking.
The Hospice also has an on-site café, Havelock’s. Our welcoming space, run by a team of staff and volunteers, serves a delicious brunch and lunchtime menu, featuring freshly prepared options and daily specials – and for those moments when only something sweet will do, there’s a tempting selection of sweet treats available too.
We’re flexible, whether you’d like to make use our café service or pre-arrange a classic lunch package with our Catering Team, we can work with you to create the perfect offering for your event.
