Target Audience:
This course is designed for registered nurses and practitioners working across health and social care settings who support individuals with life-limiting illnesses. It aims to develop the knowledge and understanding required to deliver high-quality palliative and end-of-life care, enabling practitioners to provide effective, evidence-informed support for patients with palliative and end-of-life care needs.
Course Overview:
Delivered in a modular format, the course will equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to support and care for patients requiring palliative and end-of-life care. The aims, learning outcomes, and syllabus are aligned with the core Palliative and End of Life Care Capabilities in Practice (PEOLC-CiPs) framework at registration level.

Currently this is a non-credit-bearing continuing professional development (CPD) opportunity for registered practitioners to develop their knowledge and skills, and to then go on to evidence their capability through reflection on practice, further CPD events & online learning resources.
Earn up to 45.5 CPD hours on the full course, with supported reflections you can use as evidence for your NMC revalidation.
