Holly's beautiful words take pride of place in nurses' office

“I just wanted to remind my nursing colleagues how wonderful they are.”

We’re so proud of everyone who works here, and none more so than Holly, a Palliative Care Support Worker on our Inpatient Unit.
She penned this beautiful message to her colleagues which takes pride of place in our Nurses’ Office.

Here it is full:

“To my Nursing Colleagues.

You come to work not knowing what the day will bring.

You leave your families at Christmas, weekends and at night to care for others.

You are present at what is often the most difficult time in people’s lives.

You sit beside people in their pain, with passion and human connection.

So…

Stand tall and proud of the difference you make.

You are stars!”
