Santa’s Grotto and Winter Lights at St Michael’s Hospice

WHEN: 5th-8th December, 12th-14th December WHERE: St Michael's Hospice, Bartestree, HR1 4HA

In the run-up to Christmas we’ll be joined by a very special visitor; Santa himself. This year’s Grotto and Winter Lights will be held at St Michael’s from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th and Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th December.

Start in the Workshop Café where you’ll be given a trail sheet to complete on your way around the mesmerising Winter Lights; set in the Hospice Gardens.

Little ones can explore the Naughty Elf Garden, sleigh store, reindeer stables and gingerbread village before entering the Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post.

Inside the Trading Post, each child can exchange their trail sheet for gold coins with adults and children able to enjoy a free hot drink as they wait for an elf to take them into Santa’s Grotto.

Each child will have the chance to meet Santa, have a professional photo and receive a gift.

On Thursday 5th and Thursday 12th December the Hospice Choir will be signing Christmas Carols in the Workshop Café
