From Hay to Hereford: Sue and Bonnie's walk for St Michael's

Sue and Bonnie make great strides for their Hospice

Close friends Sue and Bonnie have raised over £3,000 for us following a walk from Hay-on-Wye to Hereford.

Sue’s dad has been receiving care from St Michael’s, so the pair donned their wellies and walked 20 miles to show their support. They were given a hero’s welcome when they returned to Henffordd Gardens off Edgar Street, where they both work.

But Bonnie isn’t finished there. This weekend, she plans a skydive to add to their fundraising pot!

All money raised will come to St Michael’s – and for a very special reason.

“My dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness last year, and has since received excellent support from St Michael’s, as have my whole family,” said Sue.

“I just want to raise as much as we can for this amazing charity.”
