Father and son complete European motorsport adventure – raising hundreds for St Michael's
Tony and Theo Cook completed the Motorsport Mille
They did it!
A car-mad father and son have completed a 1,000-mile motorsport challenge which is set to benefit St Michael’s.
Tony and Theo Cook took part in the Motorsport Mille, which saw them drive from the UK to the legendary Nurburgring in Germany, and back again, in a second-hand Saab. They even enjoyed a drive on the famous track, too.
The trip had just two rules; you had to work in the motor trade, and the car you bought especially for the challenge could cost you a maximum of £1,000.
This car – the Saab – would then be auctioned for St Michael’s upon returning to the UK.
In the end, Tony and Theo enjoyed the trip, and the Saab, so much that they bid for the car themselves, meaning £500 will be making its way to St Michael’s, with more donations also making their way here.
