Let us collect and recycle your tree!

If you’re getting a real tree this year, take the pain and hassle out of recycling it after Christmas and let us do the hard work. If you’re based in and around Herefordshire, for only £10 you can book our team of staff and volunteers to come and collect your tree between 6th-15th January 2022.

If you’re really organised, why not book our collection service before you’ve bought your tree and have peace of mind all over the festive period.

Spaces are limited per area, so make sure you book your collection ahead of Christmas to avoid disappointment!

Our amazing team aim to collect as many trees from within Herefordshire and the surrounding areas, covering as many postcodes as we can. Below is the list of postcodes we can collect from.

Dates are a guide and subject to change but we will contact you ahead of your collection to let you know what date we will be collecting.

 

Hereford City – HR1 1, HR1 2, HR4 0, HR4 9, HR2 7, (6th – 11th Jan)

Hereford – HR1 4 & HR2 6

Hereford – HR6 8 & 5 Miles around Leominster (8th – 9th Jan)

Hereford – HR1 3 (8th Jan)

Herefordshire – HR1 4 & HR2 6(12th & 13th Jan)

Bromyard including a 5 miles radius 

Ledbury – HR8

Worcestershire WR13 & WR14 (10th – 15th Jan)

The cost is £10 per tree and we can collect most sizes although anything over 7ft does make it challenging for the team so please consider an additional donation.

Once  we have your booking, you can rest easy knowing that we will come and recycle your tree for you once the festivities are over.

Do I need to be at home on collection day?

No you don’t. Simply leave your tree in an accessible space at the front of your property which our team can get to easily and safely.

Please do not block pavements and access roads/paths with your tree. If you do not have a safe and accessible space to leave it in such as a front porch/front garden/driveway, please get in touch with the team who will be able to advise you on ways in which it can be safely left for us to collect.

Remember to remove all tinsel and decorations and any pots or stands before leaving your tree out.

Real trees are recyclable and can be shredded into chippings which are then used locally in parks or woodland areas across Herefordshire. We send every tree we collect to be recycled in this way so that every part of it can be reused.

Sadly, artificial trees cannot currently be recycled. However, if they are in a good condition, our retail stores may take them. Please contact your local store to see if they are accepting donations.
