Diane makes St Michael’s Hospice Lottery history

History-maker!

For the first time, a Lottery ticket bought in one of our shops has hit the jackpot.

Diane Stapley is the lucky recipient, scooping £1,000 after buying a Single Play ticket at our Holmer Road Home & Living Store, where she regularly visits in search of a bargain or two. 

“I was absolutely numb when I discovered I’d won,” said Diane. “It didn’t sink in for about 24 hours. I love coming to the Holmer Road store, and I’ll probably end up returning a lot of this money to St Michael’s by shopping there! I’ll continue buying a Lottery ticket whenever I visit, too.”

Diane brought her beautiful pooch Simon with her to collect the winner’s cheque. 

We launched Single Play tickets in all our shops earlier this year. They are priced £1 a ticket.
