The right lottery win for Carol

Our latest Lottery winner thought she had been supporting us for longer than she has.
Carol Mustoe spent a year accidentally playing the Lottery of another St Michael’s Hospice, in Harrogate. After realising her error, she signed up to ours and on Friday received a call to be told she had just won £1,000.

‘It was such a lovely surprise,’ said Carol, whose husband, Ray, has benefitted from our care over the last couple of years. We play to support St Michael’s, but I never expected to win. The Hospice means so much to both of us. It’s not the building itself, but the people in it who are so special.’
She says they plan to treat their wider family to a day out with some of the winnings, once restrictions are relaxed.
