Completed Trail hike raises over £12K
Philly, Dave and Lucy took on Herefordshire Trail in memory of Philly’s dad, Peter Jinman
They did it!
Philly Jinman, her partner Dave, and friend Lucy completed all 154 miles of the Herefordshire Trail – raising over £12,000 for us in the process!
They were walking in memory of Philly’s dad, Peter Jinman, who died at St Michael’s back in 2023.
Whilst here, Peter asked Philly and her mum Gill to raise money for St Michael’s, leading to the Trail idea being born.
Philly had initially set a fundraising target of £4,686 – effectively covering the cost of her dad’s stay with us – but the group smashed this, with over £12,000 collected for us.
Philly and Gill popped in to tell us all about the walk, and to present us with plenty of collecting tins full of wonderful donations in addition to their online giving.
