Chip shop owner lands Friday takeaway
Graham Element wins our Hospice Lottery jackpot
Oh my cod!
Chip shop owner Graham Element has been given a takeaway to remember after winning top prize in the St Michael’s Hospice Lottery.
Graham, who owns and runs Audrey’s Fish Bar in Ross-on-Wye alongside his wife, Sharon, has played the Lottery since it launched almost a quarter of a century ago. He even collected Lottery money from players near his home for around 15 years.
“It was a lovely call to receive,” said Graham. “It’s particularly fitting as my mother-in-law, Audrey, died last October having received wonderful care from the Hospice at Home team and Marie Curie.”
Graham and his family have collected money for St Michael’s at the shop for many years, and on Sunday 9th June they will hold a coffee morning for us and Marie Curie between 10am-12pm.
